Yes, when one of  bloggers been harassed all activists should care more than the other cases ! simply because when a judge make a crime shouldn’t be judged like normal citizens and when Blogger/human rights activist been harassed shouldn’t be reporting like others,” This is Just personal view”  ! Besides  harassing against blogger means harassing for all causes he worked on in the past and i don’t think Mr.Jouseph maytoun knows the causes that Wael abbas wored on !   because he’s a foreign !  -

Mr.Maytoun in his  last article in the guardian name the care that Wael abbas got from human rights and internet activists   when he and his mother been harassed by  ” Cronyism in human rights reporting ” and i can simply call it  “ The cohesion force of human rights activists ”

let’s face that Wael abbas well know blogger and he may had some problems with other internet activists, but, during Wael’s problem everyone ” especially who has personal problems with wael ” was caring about him, retweeting his mobile tweets , asking about him and his family and definitely were in soldiery with him !

Any kind of ” cronyism ” it is  ? .. I’m really wondering !

I think if Mr.Maytoun wants to write about the Egyptian society generally or the Egyptian civil society especially he really has to REREAD the Egyptian situation on the ground,and Thats alright! he shouldn’t be embarrassing it’s really acceptable from a ” foreigner” !
